The first part of the book was written very differently from the other books in the series. I had not been sure at the end of book 3 if the author was going to be forced to use a deus ex machina scenario for the characters to recover from the horrific events that had taken place. I think the way that the author wrote part one of this book actually overcame that need, making a somewhat logical transition for the characters to evolve back to normalcy. What I lerned from this is: Stay away from the shades, if youre not wearing the MacHalo!!

OMG, again!!! I might loose it before Shadowfever comes out in January.

Oh my goodness! I loved this story. I, unfortunately, am going to have to wait a day or two to finish the series, which is pure torture. I can't wait to see how it ends, but I'm dreading the end. I really love this story and the characters.

I love this series! Witty, scary and a kick ass heroine! No pansy, can't take care of myself, overly romantic story here. This is my second time reading this series and I find it every bit of entertaining as the first time.
