Re-Read Review
First Read (Hardcover): 15 Mar 2010
Re-Read (Audiobook): 4 Feb 2011
Initial Review (3/2010):
Crap, crap, CRAP! :::foot stompin' temper tantrum::: I should'a waited until closer to the 12/2010 release of Shadowfever before reading this book. Man, I knew better. The ending was a "hold up, WhAt?!" moment and now ... tick-tock. Ugh. I'm so impatient, but LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this series.

Oh my effing gods... Really Moning more.
No more pink Mac. I like BLACK MAC more. Her attitude has morphed into this awesome character.
I am absolutely loving the evolution of the leading lady Mac. The settings have also taken a huge apocalyptic turn, and the plot has taken a perfect swan dive into what the pond of good series are supposed to be.
It's not very often that I find a series like this, and doubt that I will find very few like it again. It's charming, it's witty, and has you pul ...more

So many unanswered questions in this one.. I was hoping by the 4th book we'd know something. The ending about killed me, but I guess it's a sign of a good book if I'm still thinking about it and even re-reading some parts for clues. Even though it's driving me crazy, this was still my favorite fever book so far.

I absolutely cannot believe I have to wait for 9 months to find out what happens!! My heart is breaking.... it CANT be who it seems to be. I refuse to believe it. I don't envy Mac. She has to make really hard decisions that always seem bad no matter what. BUT as Ms. Moning has said from the get go..... it is a story about hope. The final story will be the BEST one yet, I can just feel it :) Sigh... I heart Barrons. Thank you Ms. Moning for excellent storytelling at it's best.

Why did I put off reading this when it finally arrived? Perhaps because of the long wait until I can get my hands on the last volume (I might actually break down and buy the hardback...) I should have re-read the last pages at least of Faefever as I'd forgotten some crucial things about Halloween. I was annoyed by Dani at first, but was quickly sucked into the story again...and loved it (obviously from the 5 stars). I like the various levels of this world, and the characters fascinate and surpri
