I wheeled my bike down Decatur Street and eased deeper into the French Quarter, the bike's engine purring.

Jane Yellowrock is a vampire hunter from North Carolina who has been hired by a centuries old vampire in New Orleans to kill a rogue. She is also a skin walker of Cherokee descent. Jane's "beast" picks up the rogue's scent soon after her arrival and the hunt begins.

Skinwalker is the first in the Jane Yellowrock series. Jane is a vampire hunter and skinwalker, and she all around kicks ass. She has a I-don't-give-a-bleep attitude that I absolutely loved. The world is rich with skinwalker lore, vampire politics, and a touch of witchy magic. I enjoyed being part of the world and genuinely enjoyed the plot. I really enjoyed this book.I would actually give it a 4 and half. I thought it kind of dragged a little in the begining but overall a very good read. cant wait to read the next one. It is very gruesome however and not for those who take issue with those kinds of things.

I really liked this book. It was edgy and cool. The characters were kick ass and easy to like. The descriptions of the bad guy were gross and in perfect detail. I loved the Harley "Bitsa".
