The end of this book left me totally depressed.

After all Murderbot went through, it was cast as the villain by the people it saved - when will be the end to this prejudice? Why does it even care with the way it's treated by pretty much everybody and their dog? PLUS when I realized what the dead human (excuse me, the deceased) had been up to, I felt terrible he had been killed and I worried about all those poor people he had been helping. Murderbot is, of course, the rogue SecUnit on everyone's minds these days. He's lovable, acerbic, paranoid, loyal to his humans, and riddled with anxiety and a love for space-opera vids. Muderbot is incredibly fun to read, even if the storyline is a slightly dull murder mystery on Preservation Station. It's Muderbot's interactions with others, whether it's human, enhanced human, bot, or transport.
