I was a bit disappointed by this book. I was desperate to get a hold of an ARC, but it never happened so I was super excited to finally get a copy. Sadly The Inheritance Games didn’t live up to my expectations. Overall it had interesting points. ⁣It was pretty fast paced and never really boring.⁣

DNF-ed this at the 54% mark, which really gives you an idea of how badly I wanted to just get out of there. Avery spent 5% at the start of this book as a clever, pro-active young woman... and then the plot begins, and she forgets all logic, plans and basic survival skills - going along with whatever plot point came next.

when we were talking about our current reads during a FB live... And I have to say... I agree completely.

I wasn't surprised by how much I enjoyed this book, because I adored The Naturals series, but then again, I've been having trouble connecting to books on a personal level lately. So it was a pleasant surprise JUST how much I ended up liking it.
