I may have a girl crush on Savannah! This is the second book with her as the narrator, and I just love her! I love her personality, her spunk. She starts to do some growing up in this book. First of all, picking up right where Waking the Witch left off, she doesn't have any powers. And this is not the best time to be left without them as she is still dealing with a witch hunter.

But that is not the only threat her and Adam are facing in this book. Some of

Finally, an instalment of the Women of the Otherworld books I enjoyed like old times!

Savannah has lost her magic, and with that her courage and confidence. And now is terrible timing - with witch hunters chasing her to kill her, and other stirrings in the supernatural community.

The problems I've been having with the latest Women of the Otherworld books were still prevalent in Spell Bound, but less so. Savannah is a bit whiny in the book, especially in the beginning, but Adam soon gives her the k

I really loved how Savannah is growing into her own skin. Am very happy she is not the spoiled person she was in earlier books that made her my least favorite character. I am glad I waited to read this one rather than last summer when it came out since a year goes by before the next one releases. The ending technically (I guess) isn't a cliffhanger, but there were too many threads left unresolved. Thirteen will be bittersweet since this is the last book. I've enjoyed this series since Bitten. ...more

This book brings back just about every character from the previous 11, which is great. Elena and Clay are my favorite, so I'm always happy to see them. Savannah seems to take a step back in maturity for most of this book after spending the last one convincing us she isn't a kid anymore. Of course losing her powers seemed to be the main reason and probably a lesson she needed.

They find out there is a group that want to expose supernaturals to the humans and is also claiming they can provide immo

The one thing Savannah has always depended on is her tremendous power. Now that it's gone, she's learning how valuable all the ignored lessons from Paige & Lucas actually are. Trying to find out what happened to her powers and trying to find the witch hunter before being killed are complicated enough. Throw in a group of supernaturals looking to achieve immortality and you get quite an interesting mix of characters.

I really enjoyed this book. It was part of a bigger story arc and ended with thre
