The YA I've been reading lately has been on the impressive side. Lily is sent to boarding school in Chicago when her parents head for Germany for work. She quickly makes friends with her suitemate, Scout. When Scout keeps mysteriously disappearing, Lily gets curious and finds out the world is more interesting than she knew.

What I enjoyed:
* Lily. She seems pretty realistic in her thoughts and actions. I like how she doesn't immediately believe in magic.

Shelves: young-adult, dropped-series

So I think I was just expecting too much from this book from the start and I was excited to start it but from the beginning it was slow and it stayed slow. I just couldn't get into this book. I felt bored all the way through. I don't really like the characters. I felt like the characters were boring and I just don't know.
