Shelves: oct-10-release

My head hurts. So much emotional drama. That's right DRAMA. For gods sake Faythe. At about 75% reading I was thinking MAKE A DAM DECISION! I thought that multiple times while reading this book.
I ran the emotional gammet. I cried a bit. Teared a bit, had little anxiety attacks. I felt what Faythe felt. There is a lot of grief in this book. I'm glad it's over.
I'm glad she chose who she did.

amazing amazing amazing...
i mean.. the other books were good but geez!!!
first off, the cover.... i just love it!!! it's just so cool and she looks in control, and dangerous, and lethal, and just.... powerful! i love it! okay.. just had to get that out of my system..

last in the Shifters series, we have Alpha... and what a great book it is..
this is an emotional ride... even i sort of got teary eyes and that just doesn't happen to me... first book to get such a response from me. As I was reading ot amazing amazing amazing...

last in the Shifters series, we have Alpha... and what a great book it is..
this is an emotional ride... even i sort of got teary eyes and that just doesn't happen to me... first book to get such a response from me. As I was reading other people's status updates, most of them were saying they needed a tissue, or were bawling their eyes out, and i'm just sitting there thinking why?... now i know why... my god there were some sections where i even felt goosebumps because of the pain some of these characters experience... one in particular, not part of the love triangle.. oh i felt so bad for her!

this book is jam-packed! i had so many reactions to this book, but no matter what, i could not put it down! i finished it over a span of about 5 hours! i was just so excited, and scared to read it.. i wanted to read more, but i was scared of what might happen... oy!

and the characters... jeez! i wanted to rip the head off of some of 'em, one character in particular... i felt for Faythe... really i did... so so so much... Rachel Vincent just managed to pull me into the book and see her in action; in distress; in distraught; in pain!
the love triangle... i have this knack of just always knowing who the main character is going to end up with always... i have yet to be wrong, and it was the same for this book, so it just made me feel even more for the 'other' guy, knowing that he was trying so hard, both of them were trying so hard, to win the lady's choice, and know that he would not be the one she chooses, and can't live without, in the end... i felt bad for all of them.. here's Faythe, being pressured to decide between the two men she loves; and then there's the two guys.. both trying to win her over, getting hurt if they find her with the rival, and hating that she can't choose between them.. then, as if that weren't enough! on top of all of that... i'd like to say what goes on but that would be a spoiler...

everything in this book just builds and builds and builds until your either an emotional wreck, or you've got yourself facing bloodlust...

i'm going to miss this series... of all the books in the series, this one surpassed them by far for me, and we know how great the other books in the series are so this must be a wowzer right? right!!!
it's simply, a great read... i have no other words to put it... hopefully if you read the book, you'll get it ...more

Even though this is a lengthy book and there is a lot of building to the big end it just felt like it skidded to an abrupt halt in the few final pages. I didn't love the ending so I can only give this book 4 stars but the series overall is very good. ...more
