3.5 stars. I liked how it moved quickly, but I was confused half the time & there were missing plot points. Or maybe it was just me. Anyways, I plan on reading the next book & hope that now that I understand the background, i'll enjoy the plot that much more.

I would say the book is really a 2.5 stars, dropping down from 3 due to it being pretty confusing. There were a lot of characters introduced and I kept mixing them up or forgetting I'd already met them. The story itself is confusing, with trying to solve the mystery plus trying to understand Genny's past as she slowly feeds bits and pieces to you. I will probably give the next one a try (if it exists) as the world and Genny are interesting.
