Oh.My.God! Why didn't anyone tell me sooner how much I was going to fall in love with Malkom, that sexy ass vemon, dampire, or whatever you want to call him?!?!!

I'm completely head over heels in love. He is by far my favorite IAD hero, he takes the #1 spot for vampire, the #1 spot for demon, and hell, he can put any lykae to shame!

He's like a child in a way, not knowing Carrow's language, and then not knowing anything about her world and her ways. He's so careful and tender with her. He just che ...more

I absolutely loved this book. Definitely not your run of the mill paranormal book. Some points irritated me (very little though) but I don't think I would have changed really anything because if you did it'd take away from the whole essence of the book.

I love, love, LOVE Carrow. Her fierceness, inhibitions, everything! Perfect fit for Malkom. Both with troubling pasts and ultimately needing the same thing out of life.

This book took a while to get into for me. Essentially it dropped you in a demon realm where you struggled to get to know the characters and surroundings and then abruptly changed to another time/realm/character which made it sort of hard to keep up. However, by the third chapter you are on stable ground again, finally getting to know the characters and the plot of the story.

I really liked Carrow and wished I could have seen more of her with Ruby and Malkom in the real world. I also wanted to know more about what happened to some of the others on the island. Personally, I thought the book was about 75 pages too long with most of it being really long seduction scenes as Carrow got to know Malkom. I understand they didn't speak the same language, but it seemed like the only communication was sex-based. ...more
