IMHO the middle is ★★★★ ½ stars, the beginning and end are ★★★★. Love this series.

I absolutely loved this book. I was a little skeptical when I first starting reading about the torture Malkom endured at the hands of the Vicerory, as to if I would like the book or not. Well I loved it. Malkom is a hot, passionate, sexy, loveable demon vampire. I was pulling for Malkom to have his HEA the whole time I was reading this book. Malkom struggled with overcoming his past torture to make a good life for himself and his mate. He knew the moment he came into contact with Carrow that she ...more

So good! Love Carrow. She's kick-ass but also kinda normal compared to some of IAD's more warrior-like heroines. Which makes me like her a lot. And Malcom is just perfect for her and she is so perfect for him and his "broken-ness". Even Ruby is adorable (always risky IMO to have young children as an integral character). I'm hoping to see more of her, she seems like an interesting little character.

Minus 1/2 star because it's too short almost! Also, as per usual when series start getting ...more

I was suspicious about the book because I wasn't a big fan of Carrow and this Malkom. I regret that I made such a horrible judgment when the book is amazing! I really like it! Malkom shifted from an animalistic man to a worthy drool one. Scratch that! He is hot both ways!

His and Carrow's story is absolutely touching and...sexy. ...more
