This was such a boring read, it is kind of ridiculous.
The Darkest Night is supposed to be a PNR book a-la-J.R. Ward - while there are many similarities, Showalter ultimately does not deliver. The book is filled with tortured fallen angels, forced to host a demon within them. But apart from being tortured, they are utterly indistinguishable. This is the case for the entire book - we are introduced to so many characters and none of them seemed to have a personality!

This is one of those series that I know I will be hooked on. It has everything I like, the bad boy, the virgin, and the how can they ever be together forever theme.
The Lords of the Underworld is about a bunch of men and one woman who are warriors that also have a demon trapped in them and they can never be separated or the warrior dies and the demon is unleashed to the world.
I am looking forward to reading the next installment and have it waiting for me on my Kindle.
