This was a very good book and a good start to an exciting series. Maddox and Ashlyn where well suited and the chemistry was right between them. I like the fact that GS did not create a heroines as in most PNR with human females where they are constantly scared and unbelieving of facts in their faces!. The reason for a 4 and not 5 * was there should have been more fight with the hunters. The hunters seemed to just be there because the story called for a human group of fanaticals and there had a b

This was a high two stars. It was nothing amazing. Maybe I was expecting too much. I might continue with the series, but not anytime soon. I just didn't feel much chemistry be Maddox and Ashlyn. I felt more between Danika and Reyes. I might read up to their book at some point.

Good book, there were a lot of questions left at the end which has me wishing I had the second book handy so I could devour it!
I really liked the concept of the demons and Pandora's box.
***Re-read November 1 to November 10***
actually a re-listen. I did not like the narrator. I probably won't re-listen to any more of the series since the same guy does them all. I had forgotten the ending so it was a really good story all over again. Very much like visiting old friends since I have read all of th ...more
