Love! So many awesome things happen in this third book in the series that it's hard to pinpoint just what my favourite was. Maybe the return of Gin's baby sister? Maybe the kicking of asses and the threatening of the major baddies? Maybe the hunk that is Owen Grayson? OMG the scenes with him! Or maybe it was just the pies?

All I know is that Gin is back, complete with spider rune lighting up Ashland like the Bat symbol in the night. Donovan Caine is a mere blip on the radar as Gin moves forward ...more

I was going to give up after this book but it really surprised me. I enjoyed Venom and will be reading the next book right after. I know that there are complaints about the constant recapping of Gin's profession; however, it reminds me of the title character of the animated show Archer. So I just laugh it off. Although I do see how it could become annoying after three books, but I am looking forward to Tangled Threads. Here's hoping it is just as good or even better than Venom. ...more
