What Members Thought

Gin's life just gets more and more interesting.
What I enjoyed:
* Gin is freakin' awesome. I can't image taking a beating just to protect your cover.
* Fletcher is pretty cool as well.
* Owen is way better than what's-his-name.
* I'm pretty sure I'm going to love Bria as well. I love that the new characters introduced or expanded on are interesting and fit well.
What could have been better:
* I really wanted Gin to tell Bria.

This series continued to thrill me. It keeps moving forward In Gin's quest for revenge on Mab Monroe. Things are forcing her from retirement and forward to help Ashland and her friends.

The first thing that comes to my mind when thinking about this book is the lack of Donovan Caine. *does a happy dance* When I finished reading Venom I actually felt like singing Hallelujah for not having that idiot representative of the male species in the book. Yes, I was happy he was gone. (Can you tell I hated him??).
No Mr. Idiot means more Mr. Hottie a.k.a Owen Grayson. I like him a lot. He's very hot, very considerate, he helps Gin when she needs it, even if she doesn't ask for it. And he i ...more

4.5 stars.
In her own way Gin is a very principled person. They may not be the accepted morals of the upright members of society (Or is that uptight? Bye-bye Donovan), but she does have rules that she holds herself to and expects others to hold to also. That's how she lands in a mess in this book. When Gin finds out that her previous actions have caused some dangerous problems for an aquaintance, she immediately steps up and accepts responsibility for fixing the problem. I continue to enjoy this series despite the writing tics that drive me a little batty. I've mentioned it in previous reviews so I won't get into it again but there's a lot of repetition and it's still here in this book. However, I still like Gin, Finn, Sophia & JoJo. And the plot is really moving along. Although there's a story that wraps up in each book, the overarching plot about the murder of Gin's family is something that you'd need to read the books in order to appreciate. A lot happens in

WOW!!! Thats what im feeling right now!!! I LOVE this series. It just gets better and better!! The characters are so real and wonderful, they are truly becoming old friends now.The suspense and excitement are non stop and the romance, well thats pretty hot too. I strongly recommend this series to people looking for a great way to pass the time. Be forewarned however its not for the faint of heart its violent and bloody. But ohh so very good.

This series just gets better with each book! 4.5 stars.
First thing I noticed - there is slightly less repetition in this book, so yay for that.
The story is fantastic, and so much going on! - we learn that the new cop is Gin's sister, and a lot about Gin's past is revealed, our new love interest is so much better than the stupid old cop, and of course, a few assassinations here and there.
Gin is also getting better at showing her softer side and allowing some emotions to show through. I can't wa ...more
