Roslyn is in trouble and the "Spider" must once again come out of retirement. Feeling responsible for bringing Elliot into Roslyn's life when she borrowed the attire of one of Roslyn's "girls" to get into a party, Gin feels obligated to help her out of a bad situation.

Letting herself be beaten to keep her cover, the story starts off on a very violent note, and proves just how strong a person Gin is. Air Elementals sure come in handy for healing. Wish there truly were some in existence.

I will, I will, I will get around to actually writing a review of this book and the others in this series, but I only have time for my one biggest rant about this series right now...
Why is she so hung up on Donovan Caine? I still haven't understood her obsession with him and why he was THE ONE and now she's almost ruined for everyone else? I can see the connection between Gin and Own Grayson - there's been some kind of actual communication between them and a history of sorts, but Caine? ...more

Shelves: 2012, reviewed, female-lead, not-manga, paranormal, title-v

Oh yes! I am just loving more of this plot. Such a fascinating magic system evolves in Gin during this book. Also familial ties, with her sister, are rekindled. Not to my satisfaction though, but I do suspect that it will get better. Hoping I can find the next book in the series.
