I loved this book. Cf did not disappoint. What was different about this book, is that Azami was a strong female lead and she was very capable of anything without having trouble with other people. When she went in fighting you actually felt sorry for the bad guys. There was no pretenses about her. It was nice having the women(although briefly)all fighting together and bonding, I would have loved to have more of that as in equal measure to all the guys together. Shelves: wishlist, psychics-witches

First I'd like to start by saying that I love Feehan's series. All of them. I think she does a brilliant job. This was a good book but for some reason this one didn't make me say 'wow.' I've never been disappointed by one of her books and wasn't now. There was just something about this particular book that felt off to me. I thought the way they came together was too pat for one and maybe I just don't appreciate the submissive feeling I got from Thorn at times. Or I'm too picky :) I still love th ...more
