All families have odd moments.

Nevada Baylor and Connor "Mad" Rogan are finally getting married. Catalina must step in to coordinate everything when the wedding planner is let go. Connor's overwhelming family brings chaos to the event. The crown jewel of the family tiara is missing, Connor's relatives lie, cheat and steal and someone is trying to stop the wedding.

I really really liked this world from Catalina's perspective.
It is a really excellent tie-in to the next novels in the Hidden Legacy world.
Catalina is sensible and sensitive. A far more cool headed version of her sister Nevada and now that she has been forced into a spotlight she never wanted, I can see her flourishing in it.

Ilona Andrews can do no wrong!

We get a short story focusing on Catalina as she is both wedding planner and investigator for her sister's wedding to Rogan. This was really more of a mystery than anything else and a very good one at that. It was great learning more about Catalina and I always love seeing the rest of the Baylor clan. ...more

Catalina has become the wedding coordinator for Nevada and Connor’s Wedding by default. Rohan’s Mother tasks her with finding the family tiara before the ceremony.

The background of the family getting ready for the wedding is light. Catalina’s searching for the stolen tiara and finding even worse shenanigans brings her understanding her about her powers.

I look forward to Catalina’s story.

Great as always!

I love everything the Ilona Andrews duo releases, but I had my reservations about this book. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed Catalina as the main character. I will definitely read more from her POV
