3.5. I was indifferent about this book for the majority of it. It was hard for me to connect with Jude or even like Cardan. I am all for redeeming yourself, but he didn’t redeem himself enough I guess for me to start rooting for him. I liked Jude’s ruthlessness at the end, but something was missing. About it. I guess that’s where I stand. Something was missing. Also I loved Oak! Prob my favorite name for a character ever!
