So I recently finished Andrews' Iron and Magic, which I thought was brilliant, and discovered it was connected to a series about a chick named Kate Daniels. I'd heard about the series, but was always busy with something else.

Simple but pure Kate. I loved the ending, both parts. (The end of the job and the end of the story.) I wish she’d explain what the guy really was but I’m pretty sure he’s in later books. Maybe he’s explained there and I just don’t remember. It was weird not having Curran but it was still an excellent story.
