Finnie and Frey
This book, seems to me, to be one of Ms. Ashley's early stories. It works, it's fun and you can really see the beginnings of her later protective-tough-guy hero.

For one, I am so glad I didn't begin with this book. I basically did a lot of skimming after I reached 40%. I don't know why, but this one is just so freaking boring compared to the other two books and the characters weren't all that great either. I liked the hero and heroine in the other two book 10X better. Guess I can't like them all.

Wildest Dreams was a good switch up to read if you're a KA fan. Was it my favorite KA book? No, but I was intrigued through the entire story and it is " the old" KA writing, which I LOVED! The next in this series(The Golden Dynasty) is on my TBR list and I plan to read it but I need to go back to "my universe" for a bit!
