Excellent book love this story could not stop reading. What a crew , plots inside of plots, flying by the seat of your pants with a prayer on your lips and hope o your heart well met Leigh Bardugo well meet.

I liked this book very much, but I am not sure if it's gender fatigue, but much of it didn't feel terribly ground breaking or particularly imaginative. Still, the setting is very well developed and the characters are great, I just think, that as it happens with Cinder and books that are described with events so meaningful to the world and all these characters that are the best at what they do are barely children, it becomes sort of ridiculous. Where are the adults?

A trip to the movies and a trailer for the new Ocean's movie sparked a craving for a good heist read. Six of Crows summary promised me exactly what I wanted. Criminal mastermind and impossible heist you say? um, yes, please! And I got exactly what I wanted, and more. Like the name implies the story revolves around a cast of six characters that make up a ragtag team of thieves, liars, and gamblers. This one just did not resonate with me. I had a hard time getting into it and caring about the characters. I must have started/stopped it at least 3 times since I started it back in August. Obviously I am in the minority with this one...I wish it had sucked me in like it has for so many people. I really did want to like it.
