This was a tricky one to rate, due in part to the slow start. It got a little confusing at times, read a bit bipolar - it was honestly all over the place and then it picked up towards the end. It has definitely done it's job in setting up William's book in the future. I loved the new additions, they really made the story for me, but I don't want to spoil it by saying what they are. ...more

This wasn't a favorite book, but I still enjoyed it. I truly feel like Baden's story came a bit too soon after coming back into the human world. Baden is known from his past as a Lord and as a spirit in Hell, but then he does a complete turnabout in this book. This personality change made it difficult to truly understand and/or like Baden. Katarina is just an awesome character...as I would say for anyone who loves pitbulls! There is a unique transformation that occurs throughout the book as Kata
