I am going to admit I have never read a book from Lara Adrian and I am sorry that I have missed out on her books. But no more- I plan to devour the books in this series and anything else Ms. Adrian writes. Jordana and Nathan are from completely different sides of society. She is privileged and from a prominent Breed family and he is one of the most lethal Breed vampires in existence, he is from an elite group of warriors charged with protecting both mortals and vampires.

Like some of my friends that have read this book, I enjoyed the story and agree that the couple did the smouldering look across a crowded room but didn't actually interact. It was a shame really, could of been a 5 star book but it lacked a connection between the H/h, other than the sexual one.

Enjoyed the little cameos of previous H/h couples.

Will continue reading the series. ...more

While I love this series, I did not love this couple. After Edge of Dawn, I was looking forward to learning more about Nathan, all growns up, but his mate ... left much to be desired, IMO. She became a touch more interesting when a discovery was made, but still, ranked low on my mate likability scale. Nevertheless, I'll absolutely be continuing on with the series - Love it! ...more
