I am so a Midnight breed fan girl. This book is one of my 4 favorites in this series! Nathan takes his place along side Lucan and Gabrielle, Tegan and Elise, and Hunter and Corinne. (I just realized all my favs are gen ones!) In this book we get to see an all grown up sexy Nathan (Corinne's son and Hunter's step son). Stolen from his mother as a baby and turned into a emotionless killing machine. He was saved by his mother and her mate when he was a young teen but he never truly healed. He was

Nathan finally found love, and it was wonderful!!!

His greenish blue eyes were steady and unblinking beneath the military-short cut of his jet black hair.

This book moved the series forward in ways that I felt were lacking in the last few installments. It did for the series what I thought Edge of Dawn would do...it introduced a lot of characters more in depth and really delved into the gist of this new direction for the Midnight Breed series.

Nathan is a Gen One male, and I've always had a soft spot for those poor boys since we met Hunter a few books back. Nathan has been with the Order for awhile now, so he has a few social skills but at h

She was stepping off that ledge tonight, falling too fast.
Falling too hard for a lethal, untouchable Breed male who'd promised her nothing.
She knew this, the same way she understood that if reality waited for her at the bottom of this mad leap, it was certain to break her.

NOOOOOOO. It's the "Phury" book of the series. I knew there was going to have to be one, but why did it have to be Nathan's book? *cry*

Back to that in a minute. First : an apology for lying to you all. I actually did mean it when I thought I was going to put the series on hold for a minute. But every time I tried to read something else, a nagging feeling kept coming back to remind me that I was almost done with the currently in-print books of this series. So I came returned to finish these off

I enjoy coming back to this series and getting a dose of paranormal through the Midnight Breed. I really like that I was able to get the audiobook for this story because reading time has been cut down lately, so listening still allows me to get my reading fix. With that said, this is going to be a short review.

Nathan was taken as a baby and brought up as a Hunter, a cold hearted killer taught not to feel mercy or compassion. He was later rescued when he was thirteen. Now all grown up he still appears to n

This is book #12 in the Midnight Breed series and I still love this series! It has been awhile since I have visited the paranormal genre but dang it...I sure have missed parts of it! I forgot how passionate and erotic vampires can be! LOL The fireworks between Nathan and Jordana was nothing short of amazingly hot and I got butterflies reading their encounters! I love that Lara Adrian has taken this series to a new level with the new generation of Breed Males and new villians as well. It has a fr ...more

So the series is going on after all. Well, seeing how the previus book is going, the children are all grown up and ready to have their books. But let me say this. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! Now this is my huge vote on the series should have stopped at Chase's book. Then if we are going to start reading the future and the kids come into play, a new series should start. It is like a whole new ball game here people. I will most likely read the books (won't be to much in a hurry to get it from the lib ...more

This was one of the best Midnight Breed books so far for me. I admit that I don't remember much of the series so that's telling all of each own.

We have...

-A badass male lead.
-A protected but badass-to-be female protagonist.
-Immortal baddies with a grudge.
-A group of Immortal warrior vampires(which we all know is sexy as hell).
-We also have insta-love but I blame some kind of fate shit and get over it.

Crave The Night is the twelfth installment in Lara Adrian's paranormal romance series titled: Midnight Breed. This is the first time I have read a book by Ms. Adrian and it is the first book I have read in this particular series. As noted on a fellow goodreads member's review, each book in this series can apparently be read as a standalone novel despite its series setup, so that's what I did. This new release was available at my library and I grabbed it. Plus, it was recommended on a literary map for fans of Karen Marie Moning ( ...more

If I don't count a novella Marked by Midnight, the last full length book I've read from this series was Edge of Dawn and it was four years ago! So, the occasional info dump here was appreciated. That has to be the first time.

I still find the world of Midnight Breed interesting. Crave the Night was an okay story with a solid story and some very annoying things. It takes place only three days after the events in Edge of Dawn, where a new enemy of the Breeds and humans is introduced. That plays

Disclosure time: This used to be one of my favourite series back in the day, when I used to love reading paranormal romance.

Unfortunately lately I've become a little tired of the characters and plots' predictability. Truth is, we more or less know what is going to happen by the end of this type of story. And there's nothing wrong with that: I hav

I hate giving a book in this series anything less than 5 stars but for me Crave The Night wasn't an amazing book. It had a few of my pet-peeves .
Although it wasn't my favorite in the series , still it was an interesting and enjoyable read .

I really enjoyed the first half of the book unfortunately it went downhill for me from there.

BDSM didn't have any place in this book it felt forced and just page filler or maybe just to follow the trend?!Not sure .

It took me a while to warm up to this book. I have made no secret of the fact that I am not a fan of D/s themes; in fact, I actively avoid them. Unless, of course, there is no indication in the blurb that it’s going to be in the book. Guess what? All that tortured hero angst I was looking forward to from our steely Nathan, manifests itself –wait for it– by an overwhelming need to dominate and an inability to accept a loving touch. (*Le sigh*)

Nathan has no plans to ever surrender to t

Crave the Night was another enjoyable read in this long running series. I loved Nathan. Although it has been over 20 years since his rescue the coldness and not allowing himself emotional closeness has never left him, until Jordana. I thought she was perfect for him, her innocence and her caring ways are exactly what he needed. I'm also loving the direction of this series with the Atlanteans.

Nothing beats good writing and that is what ultimately makes Lara Adrian stand out amongst her peers. In the twelfth book of the Midnight Breed series, Adrian takes an emotionless Breed warrior named Nathan and pairs him with a kind-hearted socialite named Jordana Gates. As a warrior, Nathan wishes to keep his distance from Jordana’s delicate world. However, when a fiery kiss ignites a consuming passion he has never felt for anyone before, Nathan finds resisting Jordana to be a losing battle.

The Midnight Breed books are by far my favorite vampire paranormal romance series. With Adrian flashing forward twenty years with the events at the end of Darker After Midnight she has allowed her readers to keep up with their favorite past couples by now reading their adult children. Nathan is the grown child we first met in Deeper Than Midnight. He is a grown man now and a squad captain within the Order.
Knowing Nathan’s origins you know he is going to have some damage. Yes he did some growing

Like some of my friends that have read this book, I enjoyed the story and agree that the couple did the smouldering look across a crowded room but didn't actually interact. It was a shame really, could of been a 5 star book but it lacked a connection between the H/h, other than the sexual one.

Enjoyed the little cameos of previous H/h couples.

Will continue reading the series.

Ok I have to start by saying I love this series about the Breed and their breed mates and have followed all these stories avidly. It's a series that has seen vampires living amongst humans secretly but these are truly otherworldly creatures as these vampires are descended from ancient alien warriors. It's been an incredible journey as the Warriors of the breed have fought with those amongst their own race who seek to achieve world domination and finally humans are aware of their existence. For some reason in between these books I get the idea that they are not that good, then when I read them I am surprised that they are excellent (most of them anyway).

This story of Nathan and Jordana was one of the better novels since the early books in my opinion. It was the book I had hoped that Hunter would have but I was disappointed, this novel did not disappoint me in any way other than a bit self flagellation being overdone.

WOW!!! Crave the Night was everything I hope for, for Nathan. I have been waiting for his story for what seems like forever. Nathan is perfectly matched with Jordana Gate. I love her character too. We first meet her at the end of Edge of Dawn. The story is fast pace, exciting and very hot and romantic. The Atlantian plot is fleshed out more. The book is full of twist and turns.
