I really wanted to 5 star this book. I had great expectations for the Experiment in Terror finale. I'd grown to love Perry and Dex over the past year or so. I just felt like this book did not meet my expectations. If you've been following the series, you would know about all the stuff that Dex and Perry have gone through - ghosts, demons, and the like. This book just took me to places that I didn't want to see.

It’s the end of an era for me. The Experiment in Terror took over my life for a while when I was binging on reading and catching up. And I loved every second of it. Since then, I’ve become a rabid fan and can’t recommend it enough to anyone I talk to. Dex and Perry are now part of my life. I was both sad and happy to see the series end. I have loved everything about this book as well as the whole series. This last book was the perfect end - it made me laugh and made me cry. I loved Dex and Perry even more - and had no idea that was possible. This series will be a really tough act to follow!

A well done finale, but I cannot settle on a rating (3.5-4 stars). As I'd hoped, the spook factor was high and appreciated. Typos and grammatical errors were bothersome though. All in all, I will miss Dex and Perry. I am looking forward to Ada's series. This series has been a wild, haunted ride and I loved it. Full review to come. ...more
