AH and I discussed this book and many others on Badass Book Reviews!
I am seriously enjoying this new series from Jaye Wells! It's completely different from the Sabina Kane books but still has the biting wit and sarcasm that I loved so much. Kate and Co. got a little darker with Cursed Moon -- a little more angst, a little more drama, and a whole lot of secrets. **2.5**
I had a really hard time getting through this. I dislike a lot of the secondary cast - Danny and Pen are assholes, and I cannot stand John Volos and his machinations. And I have no more patience for Kate and her TSTL shit. There's no reason for her to not tell Danny the truth, and end his obsession with Volos. There's no reason for her magic phobia. She makes one stupid decision after another, and misses the obvious shit in front of her face. It's frustrating and annoying.
