This is a back story to both the Rylee Adamson and Elemental series. Rylee has taken it upon herself to rescue a missing child without benefit of back up. She manages to convince a neighbor to drive her in the direction of the pull that she feels from the child. The neighbor turns out to be more than he seems.

I read books 1-9 in the Rylee Adamson series first. Then decided I better read this one before I read the last book. I'm glad it did. It's good to get the full picture. I also look forward to reading Lark's story. ...more
