I really like the supporting characters in this series, but it is getting harder to get behind Merit as the lead. She got knocked on her a$$ at least 3 times in this book and needed rescued, but she is supposed to be the bad a$$ in the house and protecting Ethan, not him protecting her.

But like I mentioned the supporting characters are awesome and will keep me reading the series for now. Plus I am curious if this mess with the GP will ever be over.

The eighth installment of the series Biting Bad throws back to that kind of gripping read. It’s Merit being awesome, and sometimes failing. It’s Merit and Ethan together. It’s vampire politics. It’s Chicago.

Not as good as the previous book. CN is really talented. She keeps invoking strong emotions from me. I just don't like the theme of emotions she calls forward. Ugh.

This took longer than expected to
finish than expected..

It didn't have what the other
books had. Neither did the 7th book..

I'd like to finish the series but
we'll see..
