Just finished rereading this. Just as good the 2nd time!
This is one of the few audio books that I've listened to. The story was interesting but I thought some parts were dragged out a bit too much. I don't know how many times I wanted to fast forward it just to get to the next action part. I enjoyed all of the 80's stuff, I just thought it was too wordy at times.
I love the idea of finding the keys, gates and keys. The characters were realistic and I found myself rooting against the bad guys as much as the other contenders.

Contrary to what I assumed this to be, it doesn't come off as alienating. There was always something for me in every page, be that a life issue, interest or hobby, or a character. One of my favorite books that I have read this year. I didn't want it to end. I listened to the audiobook and the narration by Wil Wheaton made a great book even better. I highly recommend this one!

Wow. I can’t remember the last book I read that kept me up for past midnight because I wasn’t able to put it down. This was a book unlike any other, genuinely felt like I was in the OASIS; felt like I was inside an adventure. So much to take away from this book, so much it reflects who we are as a society. I was kind of disappointed with how it ended on something I perceived as a subplot, but still a remarkable book I won’t forget.
If you are any of the following, read this book:
*A geek
*A nerd
*An 80's nostalgia buff
*A human being
I promise you will not be disappointed.

Pretty awesome. Currently wishing the OASIS into reality :)
The scariest dystopia I've ever read.
