I finally finished this book! This was not a quick read for me, but an incredibly interesting one. I originally bought this book because the author mentions my grandparents in it and I enjoy books about protecting marriages and families. This book is a scholarly work about marriage in an LDS context of a covenant marriage (a contract between not only man and wife but God as well). Elder Hafen has some great insights on the family having been a family law lawyer. If you want additional perspectives or history on the family within law this is an excellent book, and just family relationship in general, read this book.
Best book on marriage I've ever read.
