What Members Thought

Wither (The Chemical Garden #1)kept my attention over and over again. It has an unusual story line; the world is in a postapocalyptic state where men live only until they are 25 and women until they are 20. This being caused by genetic manipulation. The world struggles to find a cure to this disasterous result. Rhine, our heroinne, finds herself taken by 'gatherers' who kidnap girls to sell them to weathly men to become their brides. The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't much going on... plot-wise. The pace was a bit sluggish for me, but I hope the next book will be more action-packed. I'm crossing all fingers!
