I gave this book 3 stars but really probably should be more of 2 for me. I didn't outright hate it tho so I will go with 3.
When I read a book I want to be IN the book I want to feel what the characters feel, and laugh, cry, be scared, angry, something! I got nothing with this book at all. The timeline jumping all around did not allow me to connect with anyone in the book unfortunately.

I was intrigued by this book and all the hype surrounding it. I fell into the story easily and had a desire to did out what was going to happen next very early on. I absolutely loved this book. It was so ingenius. Really a new idea that made me keep on reading to see what happened. The characters were lovely and very well written. And I liked the connection between the circus and the people. The descriptions were amazing and I felt as if I was not only there but could smell the carmeled apples. Highly recommned this book to anyone who likes something different.

I won't lie and say how great a book it is or how horrible it is either. It is a book you can love or hate. The story line needed to be better developed, but over all a pretty good read. All I can say is read and determine for yourself. Remember to let the magic take control and remember to take your imagination with you.
