Two of my favorite things that the wee free men say. Is it any wonder that I love them? Both Brice and I found this book very delightful, so delightful in fact that Brice went and checked out a whole bunch more Discworld novels, and we've just checked out the next two in the set that involve the wee free men.

I've read this book at least 3 times, but probably more like 5 or 6. Seeing as I rarely reread books at all, much less this many times, it's a testament to how much I love this book and how I've continued to love it, no matter my age. And I don't know how Terry Pratchett does it, but I think I relate to his female characters more than any other character I've read. Tiffany Aching, Susan (sadly not in this particular book), and Granny Weatherwax are like my Holy Trinity.
