I'd rather give this book a 3.5 if I could. Some stories were excellent, such as Nancy Kress's "Summer Wind", a retelling of the sleeping beauty tale from the princess's point of view. I kept this story with me long after I read it. And "Match Girl" reminded me a lot of Deerskin, with rape and fire transformation as integral pieces to the story.
