Castle in the air is the sequel to Howl's moving castle. The story begins with Abdullah who lives in an Arabian like world. There are palaces, princesses, djinn, flying carpets, crazy relatives. the list goes on. It seems like a completely separate story from Howl.
As the story progresses, we meet for fantastic characters. Eventually Abdullah finds his way to Ingary. Ingary is the home and setting of the first book.

Another fun, creative, and imaginative story by Diana Wynne Jones. I enjoyed the switch from European Fairy Tales to a more Arabian Nights feel. The dialogue was hysterical. The magic was delightfully subtle. The Princesses were great. And when all the pieces clicked into place, I wanted to re-read it again to see the story better.
