Good story, a little too violent sometimes.

This review assumes that you’re caught up on the Guild Hunters series and that you’ve read the teaser excerpts on Nalini’s website.
I’ve been in complete lust and love with vampire Dmitri, the leader of The Seven (Archangel Raphael’s elite guard of vampires and angels) since his introduction in the Guild Hunter’s series opener. When the nearly 1,000 year old vampire got turned on from Elena slitting his throat in Angels' Blood? And wanted to f**k her before killed her? That sealed the deal.

Loved it!! Dmitri stole my heart. What a great love story! Nalini Singh has outdone herself! I highly recommend the whole series. It's awesome!

Honor and Dimitri
Pretty good book. I love Singh's writing of an anti-hero. She makes them so dark yet it is impossible to not love them. The book wasn't 5 stars for me because of the end.
Spoiler ahead*****
So is she Honor or is she Ingrede? I know she said that she was Honor now and Ingrede in a time before. But the end was so abrupt. Conflict over...and I am your dead wife. I just wasn't totally on board with how it ended. I think Singh did a good enough job with having Dimitri fall in love wit ...more

Loved this book! Until this book I was not a big fan of Dmitri. I didn't like the way he taunted Elena in the other books with his scent. Now, I know he was doing it for her protection since he is not the only vampire who has that ability.
This was a very violent book. The most violent of all of the Guild Hunter books. It was also, quite possibly, the saddest of them all, although, with a happy ending.

Was up until 2:30am reading this bad boy. So much running around my head about this book!
Really great book, another fantastic addition to an interesting series that seems to draw me in that little bit more with each book.
Only thing to say is this book would have been a 4.5 stars if it wasn't that for that bit near the very end very disappointing for me although it didn't ruin it it did put a dampener on the book for me.

I loved this book! This is the first of the Guild Hunter series that didn't focus on Elena and Raphael, and it was a story filled with hurt, anger, forgiveness, new beginnings and eternal love. It doesn't get better than that! It was heart wrenching to learn about Honor's history and terrible ordeal, and to see her fight to get her life and pride back. It wasn't an easy fix either...you could see the struggle within her. And DIMITRI! I love Dimitri! You truly felt for him - his loyalty to his wi

Singh throws in a good twist here - can true love really last forever? It's a question immortals might answer differently than the rest of us.

This book, I’ve read it so many times and each time it brings me to tears,, the first time I read it I sobbed. Dimitri is a hard, harsh, unforgiving, and unmovable male. I did not like how he is with Elena, but this book made me fall more than a little in love with him and I absolutely love that he stayed true to live in his own way. Honor is not an Elena but she’s strong and capable in a whole other way and has a heart big enough for a monster. Love this book.
