I swear every single one of these highlanders are too hot for the pages. It should be illegal to be THAT hot! I think I will never get enough.
I adore the Mackealtars. I mean, OMFG! I need to go to Scotland and hear their accent for real. I mean in person it could sound 1000 times hotter, yes? Where I adored Drustan and Daegus' book I did not enjoy Cian as much. And I am thinking that this maybe just from the plot of the story.

I am so sad to have come to the last release in this series, but am hopeful for more to come in the near future. I wasn't sure at first how I would feel about Cian. He was even more rough around the edges than our bad boys in previous books from the series, but he really grew on me fast. A few years ago, this book was my first foray into paranormal romance. Having no idea who were the "it" authors of the genre, I literally just picked this up off of a shelf at my local library. Thanks KMM, I've not only developed a love of paranormal romance, in general, but for historical romances featuring Highlanders as well.

Another storyline I enjoyed a lot, but for some reason I did not feel so invested in the characters this time. I also felt that KMM was lacking some of her passion, and her writing style was off a bit – I’d say she was loosing her desire and love for these Druids, or maybe getting a bit sidetracked by some other interesting thing she wanted to write about.
