The first time I read this, the abuse in Tally's past and the way in which she dealt with that made it difficult for me to enjoy the romantic aspect of the book, although I still enjoyed the world and the story. I think that I simply found it too distressing. I recently decided to re-read the whole Psy-Changeling series, so I re-read Mine to Possess as part of that. I adore this series. This is my favorite installment yet. I absolutely love Clay. He's my favorite of themes upto now. Although I'm sure Dorian and Hawke will take lead when I get to their books. Lots of things are starting to makes sense now, the dots are starting to connect. I'm going to get through this series in no time. I just can't seem to put these books down.
