Nalini Singh’s books are always hard for me to get into, but once I get past her confusing writing style, I can’t get enough of her irresistible characters. I absolutely loved Elena and Raphael. And God, I wish I could touch his beautifully described wings...*sigh* Is Archangel's Kiss as good as this one? If so, I can't wait to read it!
Thank you, Lethal – Again! Your recommendations are always amazing.
P.S. Why don't my books have BJ scenes anymore? Ugh.

On first reading, I simply wrote, "A woman overcomes aversion to supernaturals in order to help defeat evil, and in the process finds love."
It took reading much worse in the genre to appreciate Singh's genius. The setting, the world-building necessary in any supernatural story, was both detailed and so well done as to be almost unnoticeable. The skill shown here makes me want to go back and read her earlier work.
The characters, even those only mentioned for a few pages, have depth and sparkle.

this was great. i didnt expect to like it as much as i did. ive always been looking for fallen angel books and the only ones ive read were youg adult books and i was soooo glad to find a adult urban fantasy/paranormal romance one about angels. the only thing i didnt like was that it wasnt really in elena's POV. b/c sometimes i had no idea who they were talking about, like there were 2 women in the room and they said, "she"...it got kinda confusing sometimes....but i would love elena/rapheal POV.

Review coming soon! :-)

Interesting story of archangel Raphael and vampire huntress Ellie. The book was okay and the story line solid, however I think I was still in the Psy-Changeling world.
It was interesting to learn a bit more about the angels and that they are not always as good as we think. Raphael is definitely intriguing as well as his "7", which I'm hoping NS does books about. I would so be interested in Demitri's story.
I've already started the next book which is a continuation of the story.... ...more
