I was pleasantly surprised. Singh just has this way of creating very compelling characters that always leave me wanting to know more. The plot was weird and sort of thin in the beginning but I liked Elena and Raphael so much I didn't let it bother me too much. I've already picked up book #2 and look forward to reading it.

Stay tuned for a series review. I would rate this 3.5 if I could. Some aspects were fantastic and others were just OK.
