I've never been a fan of the TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer but I've seen some episodes and was kept up to date with the story arc by my sister who was crazy about it and couldn't stop "sharing the love", LOL. Why am I talking about that? Well, while I was reading this book, I couldn't help but wonder if Ms. Frost was in any way inspired by the aforementioned TV show when she decided to create the Night Huntress series considering that the basic setup was the same: the kick-ass heroine (Cat/

Oh my goodness, did I love this book! From page one I was enthralled with both Cat and Bones. I can barely type this because I want to read One Foot in the Grave. The end of Halfway to the Grave was so moving and so sad. I'm very glad I didn't read it when the book first came out. I doubt I could've waited to read the second one.
The writing was spectacular. I was enterained throughout this entire book. The humor was off the charts and I could actually hear Bones's accent. I laughed and cried at ...more

After reading a lot of vampire novels recently, I was beginning to become bored with similar storylines.
The vampires in this story were like all of the others, super strong & fast, beautiful, compelling, etc. and the heroine is a feisty vampire hunter who ends up falling for a vampire. However, this well written story with great pacing was an enjoyable read.

Cat and Bones are legendary!!!
And sadly no review i give will ever be able to properly articulate how fantastic i found this book (this includes writing & characters).

Kick Ass Read. I absolutely fell for Bones...He and Cat are one awesome team, well once she gets it figured out. She's 1/2 vampire and mad as hell. She's looking for her dad, the piece of shit vampire that raped her mother, that's why Cat is 1/2 vampire...any way she's out killing vamps left and right and then she meets Bones who can't keep his hands off her. She put up a struggle but not for long. She needs Bones in more ways then one. Fantastic Read. Highly Recommend.
