Finally, we get to learn more about our vampire demon and his tortured past. Turns out that Wraith’s self-destructive ways can be attributed to his mother. Yup, that explains everything. All kidding aside, I loved this book. Yes, there is the virgin thing, however this story was action packed and exciting.

This was another great storyline, and reminded me of Zsadist from BDB (except Wraith wasn’t as reluctant to get involved with someone, and his issues were not as deep as Z’s were). Overall, I enjoyed it but it didn’t have the same impact as some others… the heroine was great, but again... just didn’t feel too much attachment. Maybe because the tortured hero thing is not my favourite (even with the BDB, Z is not my favourite **ducks behind something to keep from being pummelled by rotten fruit**)
