It was awesome! I liked it. Ate it right up. Would be reading
right now if I didn't have other things I needed to read first.
I have to say, I'm really liking Mac as a heroine. She's not super whiny like others sometimes are. She's getting tougher and not letting Barrons or other people walk all over her as much anymore.
The story in this one was good. Learned a tiny bit more about V'lane. (I don't trust those Fae. Sneaky little things.) Some characters from the last book showed up like the m ...more

This book was a bit better than the first and there was more tension between Mac and Barrons FINALLY! There is next to no romance in these books so if that's what you are looking for then this series is not for you. Its mostly an action based story with paranormal elements. We found out Mac's sister died in the first book and that she set out to avenge her sister by finding the murderer. We also found out who the murderer was in the first book but that has not progressed at all in this book. The
