Shelves: read-in-2017, single-titles, rom-contemporary

Now this is the Nalini Singh I know and love. I am glad I didn't give up on this series though I suspect my enjoyment of this book has more to do with the fact that this features a non-rock star hero (I am not a big fan of that genre of books) and that we actually see character development and a plot not just wham-bham. I do see that these books are a bit more over-sexed than the usual NS books. ...more

So far this one has been my favourite of the series. The romance between Charlotte and Gabriel has been building in the background of the previous books and I was looking forward to seeing the by play between them first hand. And, it was sweet, slow building and sexy romance, due to Charlotte's horrible past, a past that leaves her wary and scared of men, especially men as big and strong as Gabriel.
