I completely enjoyed this novel - the third installment of Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series. I wasn’t a huge fan of Paige’s after reading her in Stolen but she managed to win me over in Dime Store Magic. She’s a huge contrast from Elena. She’s a lot warmer, human and impulsive.

The chemistry between Paige and Lucas was entertaining. They’re fun together and they’re fun to read when they are together. Their sex scene down in the basement? Wow… they truly made magic together

I liked how Paige was floundering with Savannah – you could tell that raising a teenager was not how Paige saw her life going and yet she never seemed to resent Savannah’s presence in her life.

I loved how Paige was still striving for further learning – she was not content to just use the coven sanctioned spells that had no power. She wanted to be the best that she could be. Not just so should could be more powerful but so then she’d have the best tools available to help Savannah and herself. She was not going to be weak and just accept unfair circumstances.

I wasn’t sure that I’d enjoy a book in Paige’s POV (point-of-view) but I enjoyed reading her. I can’t wait to read Industrial Magic (Women of the Otherworld #4) which is the next book in the series and another one told from Paige’s POV. ...more

Dime Store Magic is book three in the Women of the Otherworld Series by Kelley Armstrong. I read this a month and a half ago for the second time and wrote a review to go with it. For some reason, my review was deleted and so was my reading date. That's so frustrating. It threw off my stats, which is the only reason I noticed the error.
