I will keep this review short. I loved all the previous 3 books of Tom Wood, but still his new one caught me out of guard, by taking the action, suspense and level of adrenaline in new hights. Couldn't put it down! Victor is as edgy and fascinating as ever and the Story performes many unexpected twists and turns: Tom wood delivers his best work so far and so proved once again to be my favourite author by right, easily outrunning the big names. Keep up your amazing work Tom!

Victor has to protect the daughter of an old adversary. After a setup in London, he has to flee and lay low. This story is different from the last few installments in that while he has hits to complete, these are done out of need to survive. Victor learns some about himself and yet stays true to his own moral compass.
A thrilling tale with a great anti-hero.

Good one. Another one where the ending wraps up quickly and the fight battle scenes are fantastic.
Some funny bit with certain scenes wherei had to go back to check if I had Mis-read something. But I put that down to plot moving along quickly and the writer not remembering the environment. Great read!!.
