A true masterpiece of plot crafting!!!

With “Dance with the Enemy”, Sinclair wrote an amazing debut, but with “Rise of the Enemy” he shows once and for all, that he is a force to be reckoned with, not just as a great creator of characters but also as a master of complicated plots in which you will never see the next twist coming, let alone the last one!

This second installment in THE ENEMY series is much better written than the first one. I'm so glad I gave this author another chance! The protagonist, Carl Logan, is a dynamic, multi dimensional character. The plot is riveting and complex, the story line is suspenseful, and the pacing is perfect! ...more

I read this book out of sequence and I suspect I missed a lot of needed introduction from book one. However, this book is tightly coupled with book three and I will not be reading the rest of the series. They remind me of the Saturday morning serials when I was a kid...
