This second installment in THE ENEMY series is much better written than the first one. I'm so glad I gave this author another chance! The protagonist, Carl Logan, is a dynamic, multi dimensional character. The plot is riveting and complex, the story line is suspenseful, and the pacing is perfect!

I read this book out of sequence and I suspect I missed a lot of needed introduction from book one. However, this book is tightly coupled with book three and I will not be reading the rest of the series. They remind me of the Saturday morning serials when I was a kid...
