I received an advance copy of this book from Goodreads. This is the first book in the series that I have read. The story follows a small spec ops team as they work to recover the kidnapped wife and daughter of a U.S. Senator. There is no shortage of action throughout the book. The author takes time to specifically describe equipment that was lost on me for the most part. However, there was little time spent developing the plot and explaining how the team cultivated the information on where to go ...more
