What Members Thought

The first portion of the book was extremely engaging; addictively so. A fun read. He drew the main plot point out towards the end but it was an enjoyable book, especially given it was his first novel. The style and theme are right up my alley for casual reading and I'll likely read the whole series.

Enjoyed this read. I had previously read a few Jack Reacher books and decided that I wanted to start from the beginning. This first in the series did not disappoint. Just when I started to think I had it figured out, I was blind-sided by the real outcome.
I will eventually be reading book #2, Die Trying!!!

This 1st Jack Reacher novel by Child starts with Reacher being arrested minutes after arriving in a small Southern and charged with murder. His 1st day in jail they attempt to kill him. After being cleared, he is drawn into the investigation trying to find out who appears to be clearing house in this town including the murder of his estranged brother. Good thriller.
